Hello, world
First post. Why I'm building this site, and what to expect here.
Every blog opens with a post like this one, and most of them are throat-clearing. I will keep mine short.
I am Aldo. I build websites for small businesses and I am studying cybersecurity, both out of Park City, Utah. This is where I write things down.
Two kinds of things, mostly. Notes from what I am learning: the security concepts, the commands I keep forgetting, the tools I am still figuring out. And honest notes from running a one-person software business in the open: real prices, real mistakes, and what shipped each week.
I am early in all of this. I have not passed every exam I am studying for, and I am not going to pretend otherwise. The point of writing it down now is that you get the real version, in progress, instead of a tidy story told years after the fact.
