Now

What I'm focused on this month. Inspired by Derek Sivers' /now page movement.

$ cat ~/.now/working-on

Working on

  • Aldo's Toolkit is live on the App Store and Google Play - just shipped the iOS launch. Working through the first round of post-launch feedback. /app
  • Landing client #2 and #3 - sending free 24-hour audits to local businesses and following up to turn them into paid builds. /audit

$ cat ~/.now/learning

Learning

  • Security+ SY0-701, mid-objective. Drilling domains 2 (threats) and 4 (security ops) this month.
  • eJPT prep, INE labs in the evenings, working through enumeration → exploitation methodology.
  • Postgres internals, row-level security, indexes, EXPLAIN plans. Supabase is teaching me by force.

$ cat ~/.now/reading

Reading

  • Designing Data-Intensive Applications, Kleppmann. Long-running re-read.
  • RTFM: Red Team Field Manual, keeping it close for lab work.

$ cat ~/.now/shipping-next

Shipping next

  • Client #2 - first audits converted into a paid build. /audit
  • First 50 installs on the toolkit (App Store + Play).
  • /lab, first writeup. eJPT methodology cheatsheet or a TryHackMe walkthrough, whichever lands first. /lab
